"Standing Strong" Sand dunes National Park is one of the strangest places in Colorado. 70 square miles of beach 1100 miles from an ocean just seems out of place. We were out hiking around and about 300 feet up one dune there was this lone sprout. I'm not sure how it manages to survive, but it's definitely a feat of nature.
